La Dimora del Falconiere is an ancient ducal residence for sale, dating back to the end of the 19th century, located in the heart of the lively town of Ruffano.
The building consists of a single floor and is characterized by a tuff facade, recently restored, which sees the skilful overlapping of different styles.
The numerous rooms that compose it are divided into two almost specular units, and at the same time made communicating, by a central entrance hall, which then gives way to an open courtyard.
The rooms are all characterized by a roof with typical vaults, and it is clear that one part of the house was used for residential purposes, due to the presence of cement tile floors and a characteristic built-in kitchen, while the other half was used mainly for handling of agricultural and breeding activities, due to the presence of more rustic flooring, a stable with mangers, an ancient underground oil mill and, in the rear part, a barn, most likely belonging to a previous Masseria, later incorporated into today’s building .
A luxuriant garden of approximately 2,500 m2, equipped with an ancient irrigation system and three cisterns, completes and enriches the property.
