Lovely first floor apartment in Residence Ginevra located in Santa Maria al Bagno,, near the historic cities of Lecce and Gallipoli, in the area of Puglia's on the Ionian coast of Italy.

Outside there are 2 balconies (one overlooking the pool area) there is also a roof terrace with table & 4 chairs and 4 sun loungers.
There is a large shared swimming pool, which is for residents only, and one parking space allocated to each apartment, a couple for guests, though parking is not a problem as it is a private road. The apartment is in excellent condition, no pets or smoking have ever been allowed inside the apartment.
The apartment has air-conditioning in every room. The apartments are located within a mile of the beautiful beach of Santa Maria al Bagno, which is very safe for children.
The local area offers numerous outdoor activities, including sailing, golf and water sports, while there are plenty of restaurants and bars in the vicinity.
Puglia, an area in the heel of Italy, has much to commend it to holidaymakers. Santa Maria is a lovely un-spoilt, quiet Italian village, with easy access numerous historical Cities and abundant beautiful beaches.
Santa Maria Al Bagno is approximately 45 Min travelling time by car from Brindisi and approximately 1hr 30 Min from Bari. Ryan Air fly to and from Brindisi and Easy Jet to and from Bari.
Santa Maria Al Bagno is a small village location, which is located on the coastline of the Gulf of Taranto and has beautiful un-spoilt beaches all along the coastline. The historical port of Gallipoli, with is beautiful old town and basilica is about 15 Min to the south by car.
The beach at San Isidoro is a very popular local beauty spot and is approximately 10 minuets by car, a little further along the coast from San Isidoro is Port Cesareo.
There are numerous local shop selling fresh produce and daily supplies. There is also a large supermarket where you can buy all you need from soap to Champagne, known as Familiar in a small shopping center along with and Electrical retailer (Tron) about 10 minuets drive away on the coast road towards Gallipoli.

Lovely people, unbelievable cities full of Baroque architecture. It boasts the longest coastline of any Italian region, the eastern side of the peninsula facing the Adriatic and the western side facing the Ionian.
The climate is reliable, too. The summers are hot, spring and autumn are usually gloriously warm and the winters are invariably mild. The rainfall is the lowest in Italy.
Puglia produces more wine and olive oil than any other Italian region.
For culture vultures, there are plenty of places to visit, from the ancient fishing port of Gallipoli, to the stunning Baroque city of Lecce, and the World Heritage Site at Alberobello, the heart of ‘trulli’ country.

The apartment is a 10-15-minute walk from the center of the village, with its outstanding beach, and a 45-minute drive from Brindisi Airport, which is served by Ryanair from London Stansted. Easy Jet fly to Bari airport which is approximately a 90-minute drive.
Car hire is available on-line from most car hire comparison sites, we usually use Auto Europe, as most of the pick-up offices for their car hire are just outside the arrivals lounge at Brindisi airport.
